Gyalzen Peak (6151m) from just past Shingdip. The British all-women’s Himalayan Expedition was the first expedition to the Jugal Himal and the first to climb a peak in either Langtang or the Jugal. Monica Jackson and Elizabeth Stark reached the summit on May 11, 1955 via the south side from Phurbi Chyachu Glacier. Ang Temba and Mingma Gyalzen, after whom the mountain was named, also made it to the summit.
